University of Iowa Germans in Iowa Traveling Exhibit
Learn about German ancestry and immigration in Iowa.  Includes 5 displays for Hardin County.  Free and open to the public during library hours.

The Magic of Jonathan May
Jonathan has been to the library before and gave us a good performance.  This program is targeted for children, and parents are also welcome to attend.  Free and open to the public.

The Amazing You
Dr. Emily Stoulil will present a children's program.  Free and open to the public.

Mad Mixture
The Grout Museum will present a children's program of entertaining and educational science demonstrations.  Free and open to the public.

The Comedy and Magic of Desirae Payne
Desirae has been here a number of times and provides a fun time for the children.  Free and open to the public.

Bike Rodeo
Sponsored by the Police Department, we encourage children to attend this event across the street from library.  Bring your bicycle.  Free for area children.

Blank Park Zoo
Another program for children, Blank Park Zoo brings animals for the children to see up close.  Free for area children.

2:00-3:00 Thursday, July 13
Princess Belle
A performer portraying a character from folklore entertains children with story and song.  Free for area children.
